Complicated Hearts Duet by Ashley Jade

"OH MY LANTA" Let me start by saying that this is one of my favorite books ever and because of that reason I was hesitant to do this review but someone actually requested it so here goes.  *Spoiler Free* I first read this Duet back in 2018 and to say I WAS NOT EXPECTING this book is an understatement. The cover and blurb did not capture my attention so I had it on my kindle for a while and after reading another book from Ashley I decided to give it a go because I loved her writing style. This duet is told in three point of views and let me just say the web that Ashley weaved here is FUCKING EXCEPTIONAL. '' The heart is a dangerous thing, because the organ never lies. No matter how many deceptions you try to feed it....it always knows what and who it beats for'' Breslin is in love with Asher Holden , the boy who stole her heart completely and who she wants to spend the rest of her life with. That is until the day came that he ruined her....now she&#

Hush Hush by Lucia Franco

* This review does not contain spoilers as I believe that you need to go in blind to get the full experience of this book * Lucia Franco has become my new favorite author. I first read her work in the Off Balance Series and halfway through book one I was hooked-lined-sinkered!! When the blurb for Hush Hush was released I honestly was not that excited but I knew that I would read it anyway because it's Lucia! What I WAS NOT expecting was to fall head over heels in love with this book ( like in love love). This is slow burn romance at it's best. I kid you fucking not! I was at the edge of my seat for the first half of this book and on the floor for the second. Meet Aubrey, a college student who has not had the easiest life so when her roommate\best friend Natalie decides to help get her a job at Sanctuary Cove an upscale secret club she decides to take a chance because it can help her and her Gammy financially. I think this book officially captured my heart when Aubr

The Son & His Hope by Pepper Winters

Pepper Winters, I am convinced that your words are dipped in fucking MAGIC!  There will be no spoilers in this review because I believe that you need to go in blind, and to get the full impact of this story I recommend you read The Ribbon Duet prior.  With that being said....Jacob Wild you’re the thief of hearts and the destroyer of hope....and yet still you OWN ME! After the breathtakingly beautiful story of Ren and Della I had no idea that their little Wild One would come along and steal a piece of my fucking soul.  I thought that after his parents love that was literally written in the stars that he would of embraced all things that is love but oh how wrong was I. Jacob is one of the most complex characters that Pepper ever wrote.  Jacob Wild is dying form a broken heart.... because he truly believes that where love and happiness exists so does tragedy and death. I had to watch this beautiful human reluctance at being loved even when I knew that his heart was as bi

Wicked Lies Boys Tell by K Webster

Firstly I just want to say that I have an unhealthy obsession with this author, she writes some of the most deliciously dark and dirty books! *this is an MM book*  I always get excited whenever K releases a new book because she’s one of those authors that I love everything she writes. When I read the blurb for Wicked Lies Boys Tell I began counting down the days until the notification popped up on my kindle lol. Everything about this books grabs you and sucks you in from the first page. Meet Penn, all American jock, super popular trust fund baby and a Liar! Then there’s Cope, brooding artist, bad boy , and a cold hearted devil with a hot girlfriend but he happens to be the biggest Liar of them all, also they are Ex- best friends turned enemies. After a reconciliation, their relationship is no longer black or white but it’s in this weird grey area. Emotions are running strong and the odds are set against Penn and Cope. This story is filled with forbidden feelings and half trut

A Five Minute Life by Emma Scott

Jim looked up and found Thea❤️ This is one of the most unforgettable love stories that I ever read, it’s also my first book from Emma and now I want to devour everything she ever wrote. *this will be a spoiler free review*  This story had the ability to move me beyond words, Emma gives us Jim who’a a foster kid with a speech impairment who’s never really known love and Thea who has one of the worst cases of amnesia ever recorded, every five minutes her mind resets. I love when I just randomly decide to read a book without any recommendations and it turns out to be a Gem! This book was that Gem for me this year. From the moment I met Jimmy I loved him, he’s a broken soul who’s been dealt a horrible hand.  He’s been bullied for his stutter all his life so now he’s insecure and hardly ever speaks. Then he meets the beautiful Thea, who has this larger than life personality and he immediately feels a connection to her not knowing that she’s actually a patient at his new job. Af

The Devil’s Playground Duet by Ashley Jade

* I drank an entire bottle of wine before I attempted to read book two*  “ I never wanted to become him, and I sure as hell never wanted anything of his .....until her” Going into this book I had absolutely no idea that it was going to mess with my Sanity like it did. Suffice to say that I .Was . Not . Ready!  I stared reading this book and A couple pages in I thought that I knew where the story was going, but then we met Damien and everything I thought I knew left me right along with my morals! These books has more twists and turns than I can express ( it really fucked with my head)  Let me just say that when Damien King had his first lick I almost had an aneurism! I kid you not!!! I started fucking screaming and I’m pretty sure my Bf thought I lost my mind! To this day that’s my favorite sex scene in any book EVER (just read the book you’ll know what I’m talking about)  Now that we got that out of the way, I can focus on the story lol .  Ashely gave us everything in

Broken Knight by LJ Shen

My first review. Let me start by saying that all my reviews are 100% honest and is in no way sponsored. I chose this book to review because it was one of my most anticipated reads for 2019. I’ve been following these characters for years so I was super excited to see how their story developed. The hype leading up to this book was amazing and I had so many high expectations for this, especially because I love LJ’s writing style. Broken Knight is such a beautifully written book but to get the full impact of it you need to have read her previous books. This book was advertised as a romance but for me it was not. Luna and Knights relationship like everything else in the book took a back seat to Rosie’s disease. I had such a difficult time reviewing this because on one hand it’s a beautiful story but on the other the love story between the main characters were disappointing. Knight is one of my favorite characters from Leigh, he’s such a sweet broken soul you just can’t help but lo
